My Dad has just finished his Campath treatment this week and having read your wonderful (and very helpful) blog at the beginning of his treatment, I was wondering if you are hoping to publish the chapters on relapse and transplant? Thank you for taking the time during such a difficult situation, to write so honestly and in such a helpful way for those who are following in your and your family's footsteps.

I have just been diagnosed with T-PLL. I see another oncologist next week. I assume he will want to start CamPath ASAP. Just now starting to tell co-workers, just a few now, but more when I will be out on 'sick leave'. I am both encouraged and hopeful of my own outcome. Please pray for me...I tell everyone to do that more than anything. I will also pray for you and keep your story in my heart as I go through my treatment and recovery. Yes, recovery because I know that I can do this. I have to be around to spoil my nearly 1 year old grandson and see him have kids!

Dennis,

I was just diagnosed with T-PLL on March 25, 2011, and began my Campath treatments this week. I graduate to the 30mg dosage this afternoon. I am near 50, married for 24 years to my wonderful wife. I have one son and daughter. We all live in the Indianapolis area. Life has been a wonderfl journey for me.

I am now being treated at St. Vincents. Would you be open to a phone call or visit sometime soon? I know your schedule must be hectic, but I would appreciate few miniutes of your time to speak with a T-PLL survivor and further gain your insight. I had not heard of T-PLL before last week and now find myself wanting to know all I can in order to make the right choices and overcome.

Thanks for your consideration,

Kurt Faulkner

Dennis/Tish,
Hello! I just finished my first cycle of Campath. I should have read your book before the treatment to prepare me for the shakes! They were very scary. I am tolerating the meds very much better now. I would like to get a copy of your Teaching sheet on the disease and campath if that is possible. The 4 month to 54 month prognosis you mention also scares me. Is stem cell transplantation inevitable?
How are you doing now?
Thank you.

Hi Deborah, my husband and best friend was diagnoised on March 22 with t-cell Prolymphocytic leukemia. Like youself, I'm terrified. He is presently doing well with the Campath without reactions, but that's today, I'm afraid of tomorow. I'll keep you with my daily prayers.

My husband finished treatment for T-PLL before Easter. He was treated with Campath for a period of 13 weeks and his bloodwork has been looking great for almost two months now. We are supposed to have our next appointment with his oncologist on May 17 but on April 23rd he started with a fever. The fever has been going up and down for 4 days now and we have an appointment with the oncologist tomorrow. I am petrified that something is horribly wrong. Your journals are inspiring. I thank you for them. This cancer is so rare and I am so afraid.
